grant-making guidelines

At this time, all grants made by the Diakoneint Foundation are donor-directed

We support:

• 501(c)(3) organizations and publicly funded schools, that fall within the four Program Areas 
• Growing, but established, organizations where our grants can make a meaningful impact  
• Special projects or individual scholarships in mature organizations 
• A mature organization serving an emergency or imminent need  
• The Foundation may consider compelling needs that do not fall within the four Program Areas 

We do not support:

• Political Campaigns or lobbying efforts
• Those entities prohibited by the Diakoneint Foundation Investment Policy Statement
